Who we are
Helio Energy (Thailand) Co., Ltd. ("Helio", "we", "us") is a solar advisory and solution provider based in Bangkok, Thailand. This notice explains how we handle personal data collected through helioenergy.co, our ROI calculator (calculator.helioenergy.co), our LINE Official Account, and our contact form.
What we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details you give us directly — name, phone number, email address
- Property and usage information you provide for a solar estimate — monthly electricity bill, tariff type, property type, rough usage patterns, and (if you upload one) the contents of your electricity bill
- Messages you send us via the contact form, LINE chat, or the calculator's feedback form
- Your LINE user ID, if you message us on LINE, so we can continue that conversation
- Basic technical data (like which page you visited) generated automatically by using the site
Why we collect it
We use your information to:
- Calculate an honest, goal-matched solar estimate for your property
- Respond to your questions and follow up on your inquiry
- Prepare a formal quote or arrange a site visit, if you request one
- Improve our calculator and chatbot's accuracy
- Keep an internal record of leads and customer conversations in our CRM (HubSpot)
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the service providers that help us run Helio, acting on our instructions:
- HubSpot — our customer relationship management (CRM) system, where leads and conversations are recorded
- Resend — our email delivery provider, used to notify our team of new inquiries
- LINE — the messaging platform, when you choose to contact us there
- Vetted installer partners, only when arranging a site visit or installation you've requested
How long we keep it
We retain your information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a customer, for the duration of your warranty period plus a reasonable period afterward for legal and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see "Your rights" below.
Your rights under the PDPA
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Withdraw consent and request deletion, where applicable
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Lodge a complaint with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee
